Lane Bethay is an Abstract Artist painting out of her home studio in Birmingham, AL.  Lane loves crisp lines, wide brush strokes and lively marks. Her goal is to create timeless yet dynamic pieces that bring life and interest to any room or collection.

Born and raised in Columbus, GA, she credits her strong art foundation to her high school's AP Art Program. She graduated from Auburn with dual degrees in English and Political Science and then went on to the Creative Writing Master's Program at UAB. After having her two boys, who often paint alongside her in the studio, she picked up a paint brush during naptime and fell in love. Lane dedicated herself to painting full-time in 2019.

Outside of the studio Lane enjoys running, tennis and cheering on her boys at the ballpark. She's endlessly grateful for her husband, Jack, who has always told her she can!
